The individuals named below are missing and presumed held in Iraq. While most of these cases have yielded communication from the kidnappers, some have not. It is entirely possible that those are cases of outright murder or even accidental death where the bodies have not yet been recovered. They have however been classed as kidnapping by their home governments and/or local authority figures.
