Radoslaw Kadri is a Polish employee of a construction company. He was kidnapped from the company office northwest of Baghdad along with Jerzy Kos, two female Iraqi employees (released shortly afterwards) and 1 or 3 Kurdish security guard(s). Mr. Kadri jumped from the moving car in sight of U.S. troops soon after the abduction.

The assault is described as well-prepared, with the assailants taking the time to search through the office, presumably for valuables, before taking the hostages away in two Jeeps. The kidnapping took place in a zone ostensibly under coalition control.

No information could be found on the fate of the Kurdish security guard(s).
