Point-Counterpoint: Catastrophe
  • 20 million people have been displaced and over a 1,000 are already confirmed dead in what the U.N. calls the worst flooding in living memory, as the confluence of abnormal monsoon patterns and melting glaciers washes over India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan. Most of Mumbai is knee-deep in water.
  • 5 people are confirmed dead when a bridge collapses in Minneapolis.

Guess which disaster was covered live throughout the night by CNN, MSNBC and FOX?
